Research Focus

My research activity covers the following key topics in materials science and energy applications:

  • Fuel cell membranes and technology: Development of polymeric anion exchange membranes (AEMs) for electrochemical energy conversion. The aim is to contribute to the hydrogen economy with improved energy efficiency and low greenhouse gas emissions.
  • Thin-film photovoltaic cells: Synthesis and characterization of nanocrystals, mainly Kesterite (CZTS), for thin-film photovoltaic technology. Research focuses on the fabrication and optimization of Kesterite and Perovskite solar cells.
  • Thin-film thermoelectricity: Fabrication of thin-film thermoelectric devices based on sustainable materials such as CZTS (Copper Zinc Tin Sulfide).
  • Mechanical activation of drugs: Improving the dissolution behavior of pharmaceutical ingredients, specifically Efavirenz and Ritonavir, for applications related to HIV and COVID-19.
