    6th May 2020. Prof. Scardi’s work was one of the top downloaded in recent publication history

      The article “Whole powder pattern modelling macros for TOPAS” (https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/iucr/doi/10.1107/S160057671801289X), published by Prof. Scardi in Journal of Applied Crystallography is among the top 10% most downloaded papers.

    15th April 2020. Best junior article 2019 on Thermoelectricity to Eleonora Isotta

      The Italian Thermoelectric Society (AIT) attributed to Eleonora, PhD student of the LAB, the AIT award for the best junior article on thermoelectricity published in 2019 (http://ait.icmate.cnr.it/news-ed-eventi/premio-ait-per-il-migliore-articolo-junior).

      The article is "Effect of the Order-Disorder Transition on the Seebeck Coefficient of Nanostructured Thermoelectric Cu2ZnSnS4", published with co-authors Carlo Fanculli, Nicola M. Pugno and Paolo Scardi on Nanomaterials. The award consists in the subscription at the expense of AIT to the next International Conference on Thermoelectrics of Krakov, Poland 2021.

      There are currently no new positions offered. A PhD scholarship will be proposed shortly for the next Call, June / July, starting November 1, 2021

    September 2020. Bushra Norsheen has won the Disordered Materials for Thermoelectric Devices Scholarship. She ‘s got a Open position for PhD students starting from November 2020.
